| My £6 train to london on friday night was just long enough to finish reading 'on her majestys secret service' - ian flemming novels are wonderfully dated and at times really politically incorrect. I like them. Saturday was spent finding out what God wants me to do next and looking round the V&A museum. God is way more exciting than the V&A.
Sunday was supposed to be a day of power kiteing on clapham common but due to a distinct lack of wind no kites were flown. Instead with the use of a mountain board, a surfboard leash and a bike we managed to invent a sport for which we have no name. We're open to suggestions. It mainly involves using the bike to tow someone on a mountain board. Probably not the best idea for two 28 year old guys.
All was going well until my good friend pete hit a lampost at about 20mph. It made a great noise and made many people laugh. The resulting injuries may very well curtail petes monday night speed dating success. His hands have turned green like the incredible hulk apparently. Maybe he's just a little bit angry.

| its monday morning rather sadly. Ive just enjoyed a weekend of eating stuff, none of which i,ve had to cook. I've probably spent more time eating this weekend than anything else, except maybe sleeping, which i have also done a lot of. | | |
| I started a new job about 2 weeks ago now. On friday i went and had coffee with the guys i work with - this apparently is considered work. It just seems wrong. I also had a massive design assignment to finish and was flagging somewhat untill i discovered that the stack of dodgy cd's harriet brought from the charity shop for an art installation contained the album i am now currently listening to. This cheered me up no end, its pretty good and slightly depressing in a sort of upbeat way.Huraahh for the charity shop near my house, apparently has loads of indie music for about 45p a pop. If i ever find time i'm gonna go there and buy some music. | | |
| Dave Atherall has a blog, if i were a badger i'd read it all the time as a form of encouragement - especially during winter when most badgers probably suffer from SAD. | | |
